* Still no bee. I really hate these fucking bees.

* Still no arowana, either. At least they don't sting me before they escape.

* Aerobics... what fool thought up 6am aerobics? Tortimer said that if I show up 14 times, he'll give me a prize. I cheat though; set the clock back, get my card punched, and then leave. Heh.

* My dog Daisy left Starburg for reasons that she didn't want to discuss (!). I don't know why; I was always very nice to her, did favours, and sent her letters. I wasn't particularly attached to Daisy (hey, I'm a cat person), but it makes me paranoid that Bob or Mitzi could move away without warning. I have been sucking up extra to those two ever since; I really like them.

* Reasons that she didn't want to discuss??? She made it sound so mysterious and sinister, we wondered if perhaps she'd gotten pregnant out of wedlock by Biff the hippo, or maybe had a drug problem, or ties to the mafia and had to go underground, or something. Weird.

* After Daisy left, I got Camofrog. I hate Camofrog. He is the epitome of all things redneck. He always wears camoflage (hell, he IS camoflage), and the inside of his house is like a haven for Bubbas. He has a big mammoth skull (I guess there are no deer in Starburg), two barrels, a big metal trashcan, a folding chair, and a refridgerator. All that's missing is the Nascar poster.

* And so begins the "Get Rid of Camofrog" campaign. I try to ignore him, but if I do see him, I push him around and beat him repeatedly with my net. Today I sent him mail with an old tire attached to it, informing him that he sucks, and suggesting that he GET OUT!!! I hope he does.

* I also wouldn't mind it if Jambette left. I don't really like being mean to her, because she's pretty nice, but dang she's ugly. Frogs just should not have big freaky collegen lips.

* I have over 3 million bells in the bank! Go me!

My son came over this morning to mow, and when he took the tarp off of the mower, he found a little bat! She's very cute, but I think that she may be injured. I put her into an old box and set her out of harm's way, and I will see later if she wants to fly away. I don't know what I'll do if she doesn't fly away; call Joell, I guess. Poor little bat.

Keep it away from the kids and be careful with it. I love bats, and I've been a member of Bat Conservation International for a while. That said- the ones that fall down and seem injured, often fall down and get injured because they actually have diseases (like rabies).

I'm thinking now that he might not be injured at all, but just sluggish because of the daylight...? At any rate, once the mowing was complete, I put him back under the tarp, and I will check on him later to make sure that he flew away okay.

Most areas have a humane services that can send someone out to take her. Usually it's a vet or someone who knows how to care for such animals. They take them in, care for them, and then release them when they're healed.

One year we found a squirrel in our pool. He had just fallen in when we found him so we scooped him out. But, he was injured or something because he was shivering but wouldn't move. So, we found a number in the phone book to call. A man came who knows how to care for animals which aren't usually pets. He checked over the poor little guy and then took him to treat him for whatever was wrong.

I hope the bat will be ok.

Well, not much of one, but still. I went to Walmart late last night and bought a flagpole (there was a flagpole bracket on one of our columns, and it looked silly with no flagpole). Rusty and I had an amusing (to us, anyway) conversation about my choice of flags, but it would probably be considered offensive to some, so I won't repeat it here. I also bought some plastic laminate for craft purposes, more Swiffer stuff, green and purple potholders, and a dry erase board. Whee.

And then Jamie and the boys came over today. Steven mowed, and Jamie helped me bring down one of the bookcases so that I can finally unpack my CDs and DVDs and such. I'm on a roll.

And yeah, the little bat is still here. =\

I did some more traveling last night - Monique, Weber, and Jambette left, and Fang moved back, along with Stu (a blue cow) and Bill (a brown duck). Stu is particularly cool, moo-dude. I'm glad good to have Jambette gone; she was such a freaky-looking thing. Now, if I could just get rid of that stupid Camofrog... I'm still sending him yucky mail and smacking him around regularly.

And Korg (Rusty's character) caught his SECOND Arowana! I still haven't caught my first... On the other hand, I have over three million bells in the bank, and he only just finished paying off his last mortgage. But still. I want an Arowana, dammit.

I finally caught an arowana!!! Hooray!

I also did some time-travelling, going back to June to get the Angler's Trophy and a firefly. Normally I wouldn't cheat so blatently, but those were both items that I actually did get in June, before I started my town over, so I decided that I was entitled.

Stu left unexpectedly, and then I went to the other town and lost Pinky (good riddance), but gained Claude (a cranky rabbit). My villager now consists of: Bob, Mitzi, Kitty, Pango, Fang, Bunnie, Claude, Alli, Biff, Tangy, Tabby, Bill, Deena, and that stupid Camofrog.

I was really hoping to get Chevre or Cashmere from the other town, but no such luck, so I destroyed the town and am planning to start a new alternate town, where I will play Alice in Wndrland. I started to this afternoon, but I didn't like the layout of the town or most of the characters (Spork was there, ewww!), so I didn't save it. Peter, could you point me in the direction of your Dorothy dress pattern? I think that it would work nicely for Alice, too.

The long locusts started to appear today, must catch one as soon as Rusty gets his grubby paws off of the controller. And of course, I still need that damned bee...

Rusty and I are having issues with sex again: I want to have it at least once per year, and he apparently finds me to be a repulsive wildebeast whom he wouldn't fuck with somebody else's dick. Moreover, he refuses to discuss the issue. This is not a healthy relationship, it never will be, and what really sucks is, we're both too lazy and in too deep to ever get OUT of it.

I knew that this was all a mistake.

So this was how it went last night:

Me: [tries awkwardly to initiate sex.]

Him: [rolls over.]

Me: [tries awkwardly to initiate conversation about not having sex.]

Him: It's 11:13pm and I'm not going to talk about this now.

Me: Yes, and tomorrow the baby will be up, and then the boys will be here, and then you'll be eating dinner, and then it will be 11:13pm again...

Him: [grumbles and ignores me.]

Me: [goes to Walmart and buys wine.]

You know, I'm sure that I'm nothing to brag about, but I'm not the most repulsive troll on the planet, either. I've never had any objections before. It isn't like the biggest tragedy ever, to have sex with me. You wouldn't chew your own arm off to get away, or something.

And now he's conveniently working late.

I went shopping with my mom. We hit a few yard sales first, where I got a Conair bath spa thingie (it makes bubbles, hee) and a floating candle bowl (with floating candles, natch).

Then it was on to Michaels, where I bought two purple bandanas with which to make rice heat bags, a painted ("stained") glass kit to hang in the hall window, some pretty purple beads for making bracelets, wire beading forms, etcetera. I need to actually finish some of this stuff.

We also stopped at Target (I lurve Target), where I bought hair clips, some cute new summer clothes for Sarah, then Borders, where Mom bought me a handy laminated HTML Guide - I can never remember the tags outside of Dreamweaver, and I'm working on a website for her now where I need to do a lot of the coding by hand, yuck. More on that fiasco later, maybe.

Apropos to nothing, I want to get some Sea Monkeys.

I, however, do not have such noble aspirations. I plan to grow my little Sea Monkeys nice and plump (well, as plump as a brine shrimp can get), and then feed them to my goldfish. Heh.

On a related note, ya gotta love the internet. As if real sea monkeys weren't exciting enough, you can now "adopt" a virtual sea monkey. And feed them to your virtual goldfish, I guess.

Ha!! My poor little long gone beta loved sea monkeys! Which reminds me, have you ever seen the South Park episode where Cartman buys sea people? It is one of the funniest episodes ever. If you're interested here's a summary of the episode.

Good luck with your sea monkeys!

Allergies are bad. Dreadful face-nuzzling kittens are to blame. Up most of the night. Foolishly took Allegra and slept much of the day. Feeling most doofy. Throat scratchy. Nose snuffley. Eyeballs itch. Miserable. Ack. Someone explain to me again why I have all these friggen cats...?

You sound the same as my sister, only my sister's got Guinea Pigs.
her allegra doesn't make her drowsy...She's gonna try claritin when her perscription runs out. Have you tried it? The claritin is supposed to help with pet allergies more than allegra.

I got my hair cut last night. It's now short (chin-length), shaggy (long layers), and with more bangs. I don't think I like it. The bangs are cool, but I think it's too short.

We went to Morgontown today for the WVU v Wisconsin game. We rode with Jim and Jonathan (Rusty's co-workers), and then met Jim and Marsha (Rusty's brother and sister-in-law) there. Jim and Marsha promptly hugged me (eek!) and then we went to the game, where WVU lost.

I remember now why I don't like WVU. It's the stupid mascot. While Wisconsin, for example, has a cute badger for a mascot, WVU has a redneck with a fuzzy hat and a shotgun. Yuck.

Anyway, after WVU lost, we waited for traffic to thin some (Mo-town was PACKED), and then went to Bob Evan's for dinner, and then headed home. I had left Sarah with Jamie, so I was eager to get back and pick her up... this was the first time that we've ever really left her with someone for the whole day. Anyway, it was a fun day, but I'm really glad to be home.

[This post may be added to later, but right now I'm going to bed.]

I hate Morgantown on football Saturdays. I always used the opportunity to go to the grocery store while Husband worked (he always had to work the games), because it was pretty empty then. Morgantown is one football lovin town.

We had a nice day. I made breakfast (pancakes and eggs!) for the family, and then we spent most of the day watching movies (Fallen, In the Line of Fire, Legends of the Fall, The Edge).

Also, I finally got some unfinished crafts done. I finished the (painted) stained glass hanging done for the hall window, and made a small butterfly suncatcher for Sarah's room. I put yet another coat of polyurethane on the wooden alphabet blocks, and started on a set of purple aleph bet blocks. The blocks look really good, but I hate working with polyurethane.

I made a new subdomain for pictures of craft stuff.

They're so cute! :P

*makes mental note*
I'm definitely going to have to try that!
I made little lizards before with mini beads and thread, but I hadn't thought of trying to use wire.
