Well, the long holiday weekend went as well as could be expected when two already-volatile people (one of them with raging pms) are trapped in a house together for four. straight. days.
Thursday - Rusty was sick and stayed home. Oh joy. I went to Walmart and bought a printer.
Friday - We went to Winchester and checked tank prices. Spent the evening doing the same stuff we always do (video games and the computer). It was rather unceremonious, but nice.
Saturday - I printed some photos with my new printer. They're not awful, but I can tell that they've been printed on a home printer. I think I will use this one for documents, and when I have more money, I am going to get one of those little HP portables for photos. Or something.
Sunday - We went to Hagerstown and checked tank prices at Pugh's. The 75-gallon setup was $30 cheaper there (on sale), but I don't think it's worth the difference, since we will have to actually make TWO trips (one with the tank itself and another with the stand), plus leave the daughter with Jamie while we make them. And hauling large tanks in the back of a tiny Nissan Sentra is NO fun at all, so closer is definately better, unless there's a HUGE savings at stake.
Anyway, after Pugh's, we stopped at AC Moore, where I bought the Fiskars Shape Cutter (for scrapbooking), as well as the Stars, Hearts, and Frames templates for it. Fun! Then we went to Walmart, where Rusty bought me a really nice lightbox and some new pens for scrapbooking. I ordered three more shape templates when we got home, as well as a Terrible Towel, which has nothing to do with scrapbooking, but is a notable purchase never the less.
Retail therapy, baybeee.
